Team Watson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing youth for leadership, careers, and long-term success by using sports as a gateway to opportunity.
​We believe talent exists everywhere—but access does not.
Too often, young people in underserved communities are exposed to sports as participants, but not to the careers, networks, and business opportunities behind them. As a result, many never realize the full range of possibilities available to them.​
Team Watson Foundation exists to change that.​
Our approach goes beyond physical training. We combine mentorship, real-world exposure, and structured curriculum to help young people develop the mindset, skills, and vision needed to succeed in life.

Founder
Meet Our Founder

Samuel "Sam" Watson is the visionary founder of the Team Watson Foundation and the driving force behind "The Business of Boxing." With a deep connection to the boxing world and a lifelong commitment to social impact, Sam has consistently championed youth empowerment and community development. As the Boxing Ambassador for Premier Boxing Champions, he has cemented his legacy by working alongside legends such as Floyd Mayweather, Deontay Wilder, Manny Pacquiao, and Gervonta Davis. Drawing from his years of experience as a mentor, advocate, and leader in the sports industry, Sam created this program to combine his passion for boxing with his mission to provide underserved youth with opportunities to thrive. His leadership and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the foundation's innovative approach to tackling systemic challenges and building lasting change. Sam's contributions have earned him widespread recognition, including receiving keys to cities such as Las Vegas, Houston, Inglewood, and Memphis, a testament to his profound impact on communities.
